The Ministry of being a Lector is also a very profound and Spiritually powerful, since the Lector again, does the work of the Angels. The Lector reads and proclaims Gods word from the Ambo (Lecturn) or as otherwise known, the Altar of the Word. It is the Lector who relays the "Living Word of God" to the Faithful. This Ministry requires the individual to make Scriptures a permanent and loving part of their hearts and their very lives. Taking care of our beautiful Church requires not only prayer, but the gifts of time, talent & treasure. This wonderful Ministry offers our Parishoners the opportunity of cleaning and preparing "God's House" for the many Sacraments that take place in our Parish. Please join our Ministry of Service and experience the abundant joy that our Blessed Mother freely gives to her beloved Parishoners.
Moms of all ages are welcome to join us for coffe/tea, food, faith and fellowship!
We will shape the agenda according to your needs. The group is designed to support and affirm women in the many roles that we have in life as mothers, wives, daughters, sisters and friends. Each month we will present various topics on the role of motherhood and faith formation for our children in a positive and supportive atmosphere. We will have speakers as well as discussion time on the important vocation of raising children of every age. Expectant mothers and those with young children are especially encouraged, but we also need the advice of you experienced moms!
Meetings will take place in lower Church, Msgr Wojek Meeting Room.
